Wine fair…
The Priory of St Cosme de La Riche (photo) welcomes the 4e edition of the Touraine Wine Festival Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 32 estates and wineries of the AOC Touraine will welcome you in the Village des Vignerons to present their wines with 2 “moments apéritif” at 11.00 and 18.00, in a jazzy musical atmosphere and also 8 culinary workshops between 14.00 and 18.00 hours, with chefs. Gaëtan Evrard (L’Evidence) and Ambroise Voreux (La Cabane à Matelot), and renowned local artisans and producers (Angélique Marquet from Fromages d’Angel, Lucie Oger from Fromagerie de Lucie and David Thauvin, chocolate trainer) who will present their gourmet know-how, accompanied by sommeliers Anne Ruilier and Henri Chapon.
But also a photo exhibition, oysters and a round table “Wine for new generations of consumers” from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Library, organized by the European Institute of Food History and Cultures of Tours and with winemakers Nathalie Carli from Château de Fontenay and Emile Coddens from Plou & Fils, and sommelier Henri Chapon.

Hip-hop weekend…
New edition of the meeting of the Artistic Diversity and Nocturnal Musical Animations association that offers 3 Saturdays of shows between Blois and Tours. After a first day in Loir-et-Cher, the other two take place in Touraine, the first of which is on November 12. Here is the program: 14.00-17.00 Salle Paul Tixier in Les Halles, screening of the documentary “HipHop4Life” by Niko Noki (Pioneer, multifaceted artist, with an atypical and extraordinary career and above all a member of PCB (Paris City Breakers) then a round table at around Hip Hop culture, transmission and pedagogy 17.00-21.00 Salle Ockeghem Place Châteauneuf: competition for young rap talents It’s free.
Concerts…
This Friday, the traditional concert of the Orchester d’Harmonie de la Ville de Tours for November 11 in the Salle des Fêtes of the Hôtel de Ville, at 4 pm (free). There will be another Sunday at 4 pm at the Grand Théâtre (with reservation by email to [email protected]).
And then on Sunday from 6 p.m. a concert by a Tourangelle known throughout France and from here: Amel Vent will be in Vinci. There are places left.

The association of United Professionals of the commune organizes a fair on Saturday and Sunday at the Domaine de Cangé. It brings together merchants, artisans and liberal professions with also discovery workshops, short conferences, tastings. A gastronomic village, activities for children’s games, pets and contests are called. Solidarity act…
The NGO United Riders (which brings together cyclists who want to help the poorest) organizes its 3e operation of 100 motorbikes for the homeless at Mail Heurteloup near Place Jean Jaurès (arrival of motorbikes around 3pm). In the Christmas chalets (lent by the municipality) barbers and hairdressers will offer their know-how to disadvantaged people. A distribution of clothes, blankets, hygiene products is planned. A musician and designer are also planned as well as a proposal for hot drinks and pancakes.
Theater…
Selected at the Avignon Festival but postponed due to Covid, the show Madame Van Gogh finally arrives at the Oésia hall of Notre-Dame-d’Oé. It’s this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. The stadium: In the summer of 1891, Van Gogh is dead, his paintings are worthless, and yet… The painter’s sister-in-law, Johanna Bonger-Van Gogh, is the heir to these burnable canvases. Until November 29, Touraine artist Jamal Lansari exhibits his paintings at the Chambray media library. The inauguration takes place this Thursday from 6.30 pm, with the presence of the Chadian singer Adam Djanga.
Until the 12th of December in Rochecorbon, Natali VILO, painter will exhibit her series “Night in flowers” at the Vodanum Hall Salon. Natali VILO is inspired by nature to create bright and contrasting paintings. It is at night when the color becomes omnipresent, the touches of color oppose each other and become flowers. “Nuit en fleurs” presents structured and expressive bouquets, but where the composition leaves room for randomness and abstraction.
