At Times Square Burger, the recipes are homemade. For a few weeks now, you can enjoy hamburgers in the den located at 27, rue de Mons, very close to the Place d’Armes. “The bread is homemade, from a baker we ask, the fries too, of course, classic or sweet potatoes. We cook everything,” explains Annis Abou El Hassan, manager of Times Square Burger.
The team makes you hamburgers with meat (beef and chicken), and also offers vegetarian recipes, and hamburgers with wholemeal or gluten-free bread… An offer that is not offered very often, even in Lille, which is important, for the manager. of the brand
A set menu is offered, but you can also taste limited edition recipes, according to the wishes of the moment. Since opening in Valenciennes, the bacon burger has been a hit. “We also offer a recipe with truffles, with candied onions…”
Everything to satisfy a wide range of palates. And that’s not all! The restaurant also offers dishes (steaks and chips, salads, etc.).
Special formulas, terrace…
At the Times Square Burger, where you immerse yourself in a cozy atmosphere with “old school” music and enjoy quotes written on the walls, the formula costs between 9.90 euros and 13.90 euros. “We offer special formulas at lunchtime, others for students…”, explains the brand manager.
There are about twenty places in the Valenciennes area. You can also sit on the terrace or take away or at home.
A matter of opportunity
Why did you settle in Valenciennes? “A question of opportunity”, sums up Annis Abou El Hassan. The neighbor of Lille, who established his reputation in the capital of Flanders, was very well received by the municipality with his concept. “The city follows the entrepreneurs, everything was super fluid”, he says.
He is proud to bring this project to a sector where he has family, and in a city in full expansion, proposing an offer that was non-existent until then. Later, he envisages opening other restaurants in Hauts-de-France, but he gives time for his brand’s reputation to be forged. Little by little but surely.
